Family ArtLAB: Take-Home Edition

Did you notice that this summer the MCASD switched the sculptures at the Westfield UTC Mall? We are continuing this 6-year partnership to bring art and art-making experiences for families across La Jolla and all of San Diego to enjoy. Westfield UTC and MCASD is excited to bring you Family ArtLAB: Take-Home Edition inviting everyone to create a work of art inspired by the three sculptures on view.

Arts BusXpress
Arts BusXpress

MCASD provides limited, needs-based Transit Scholarships from partial ( 2/3 of the cost of the trip or up to $200) to fully funded field trips for Title I San Diego Unified and San Diego County public and charter schools. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and can be used towards bus or trolley expenses. Schools must complete an MCASD Transit Scholarship application when submitting a tour request form to be considered. MCASD highly advises any school seeking travel reimbursement to book a tour a minimum of one month in advance.

MCASD Transit Scholarships are made possible by the Museum's partnership with ArtsBusXpress. ArtsBusXpress underwrites field trip transportation, the "missing link," that connects San Diego city and county school children with arts and sciences experiences.

If further assistance is needed, please contact Education with your inquiry at education@mcasd.org
