MCASD offers a comprehensive travel program for our Members, and no matter what level you’re at, you can fly away with us!

The Collectors Circle Travel Program, which began in 1987, has continued to grow and expand over the years. Our Collectors Circle art tours provide entry to some of the most exclusive private collections in the world, behind-the-scenes access to artists’ studios, introductions to significant Museums and contemporary art spaces, and the opportunity to interact with our Director and Curators in order to expand the comprehension of contemporary art in a hands-on way. Avant Garde-level Members and above are invited to join us for day-long Upper Level Field Trips, which offer the opportunity to explore local and regional art fairs, artists’ studios, museums, and art spaces with the guiding expertise of MCASD Curators and Staff. Learn more.

Non-members and Members at every level are invited to join our team for day-long Field Trips. These interactive bus tours provide an excellent opportunity for contemporary art aficionados at every level to engage with artists, collectors, MCASD Members, and fellow San Diegans in an effort to learn more about the art of our time.
