Field Trip: Explore Tijuana's Vibrant Architectural and Urban Development Scene

Grab your passport and join MCASD and Agentes del Arte Contemporáneo for an expedition into Tijuana’s vibrant architectural and urban development scene! On the agenda: Star with lunch at Javier Plasencia’s internationally famous Mission 19, followed by a tour of VIA Corporativa guided by architect Ramón Guillot Lapiedra. Then hop back on the bus to visit Camino Verde and discover Casa de las Ideas led by Arq. Marcel Sánchez; for dessert we will visit the Culinary Art School designed by graciastudio and then head downtown Tijuana to explore Escuela Libre de Arquitectura, another project of architect Jorge Gracia, there you will learn more about the collaboration between graciastudio and Agentes del Arte Contemporáneo for the artist residency space and program SE RENTA. End the day at the studio and home of artist Marcos Ramirez ERRE. Tickets include lunch, and light dinner, admission, and roundtrip border transportation.
