Field Trip: Explore Baja California's Art & Cultural Scene

Grab your passport and join MCASD for an expedition into Baja’s food, art, and cultural scene. Begin the day with a spectacular scenic drive down the coast of Baja California as we head to Ensenada to visit photographer Alicia Tsuchiya. Next we’ll head to El Valle de Guadalupe to visit the studio of artist Beliz Iristay before stopping for lunch at a world-renowned winery. Back in Tijuana we’ll visit the shared studio of Mauricio Muñoz and Andrew Roberts, followed by a quick visit to 206 Arte Contemporaneo, a unique gallery in the heart of downtown where we’ll see a solo exhibition featuring artist Juan Villavicencio. The adventure will end with a visit to Casa de la Cultura de Tijuana for a glimpse of this vibrant city’s history and incredible nighttime views. This program is $130 for Members and $160 for non-members.
