Family ArtLAB: Reuse, Repurpose, and Recreate

Saturday, Jun 22, 2019 - 2:00 PM-4:00 PM

Bring an item to be transformed into a unique work of art as you collaborate with your family at To Do • A Mending Project, a new participatory exhibition in the galleries at 1001 Kettner Blvd. Led by MCASD Gallery Educators, in collaboration with local artists, activists, and menders, this ArtLAB invites families to learn more about the healing and aesthetic practices of mending.

This program is free to attend. Tickets may be reserved online or at the front desk, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Capacity is limited to 60 participants. This program is for families with children ages five and up; tweens and teens are welcome to attend and must be accompanied by an adult.
