MCASD and The San Diego Museum of Art present the 13th Annual Axline Lecture featuring Charles Ray, an artist best known for his uncanny sculptures of altered familiar objects which challenge perception. Christopher Knight of the Los Angeles Times says Ray’s “career as an artist…is easily among the most important of the last twenty years.” Charles Ray’s work, No (1991), is featured in Lifelike.
This program is $5 for students and Members of MCASD and The San Diego Museum of Art, and $10 general admission.
Members at the Donor Circle level and above are invited to a pre-lecture reception at 6 PM. If you would like to upgrade your membership to include additional opportunities for engagement, please contact Senior Annual Giving Manager April Farrell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
