An Artist’s Perspective

Hear directly from the artists and gain a deeper understanding of the works on view in the white cube space inside The Very Large Array, which focus on border activism. These works were unveiled on March 14 at TNT. 

David Avalos, Louis Hock, and Elizabeth Sisco will reflect on their controversial Art Rebate / Arte-Reembolso project; Perry Vasquez and Victor Payan discuss Keep on Crossin' (2003), on its tenth anniversary; and Marcos Ramírez ERRE will talk about his work Toy an Horse.

This program invites participants to be challenged and inspired. The program is free for Members and students, and $10 general admission.
