Xcerpts is a discussion group that delves deeper into exhibitions at MCASD by exploring an excerpt of a book, film, or music selection. Join us as we explore selections from the 1934 silent film The Goddess, one of the best known films of China’s cinematic golden age, which also inspired one of the stories in Isaac Julien’s exhibition, Ten Thousand Waves. This program is free for Members, and free for non-members with Museum admission.
