TNT: Ten Thousand Waves

TNT (Thursday Night Thing) is MCASD’s signature event that brings together live music, cocktails, artist talks, art-making activities, and interactive performances themed around current exhibitions.

Join us March 22 to celebrate three new exhibitions: the West Coast premiere of British artist Isaac Julien’s intriguing nine-screen video installation Ten Thousand Waves, the U.S. museum debut of Ai Weiwei: Zodiac Heads/Circle of Animals: Gold, and the opening of Iconic featuring works from MCASD’s permanent collection. Delve deeper into the art and enjoy gallery conversations led by Gallery Educators. Catch the sounds of blues/dirty rock duo Little Hurricane and San Diego's own The Howls. Kick it with a cocktail in the Lawrance Furniture Lounge, and enjoy delicious bites from MiHo Gastrotruck.
