School tours at MCASD are led by professional Gallery Guides, many of whom are practicing artists. Tours are learner-centered, and emphasize dialogue and discussion. It is the Museum's goal to make students active participants in their own learning through the exploration of contemporary art.
MCASD offers a range of tours and programs. Choose one from the list at right, or contact the Education Department to develop a tour specifically created for the needs of your group.
To book a tour at any MCASD location, or for more information call 858 454 3541 x151 or e-mail education@mcasd.org.
MCASD offers a range of guided and self-guided tour options for college, university, and adult audiences. MCASD's galleries function as a laboratory for the exploration of the art of our time, and can be used as an extension of the classroom space.
