This half-day workshop is designed to relate contemporary art to lesson plans across different subject areas, including social studies, language arts, and visual arts. Participating teachers will receive a private guided walk-through of current exhibitions by MCASD Education staff, gain strategies for incorporating contemporary art into curriculum, try out new possibilities to engage students with contemporary art, and explore the myriad of ways that the Museum can be used as a resource for learning.
