Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities at MCASD

A unique partnership of business and art, MCASD's Corporate Council brings together the many companies whose financial support is crucial to the Museum. Corporate Council Members receive many exclusive benefits, such as VIP access to the Museum for clients and guests, and the opportunity to be a part of a vibrant and influential community of business leaders.

Corporate Friend ($1,500)

  • One individual membership for a company representative valid for free Museum admission, special discounts, exclusive event invitations, and more (full benefits described below un Executive Membership)
  • 25 MCASD guest admission passes for employees or clients
  • Corporate Council listing in VIEW, MCASD's quarterly newsletter
  • Donor recognition on MCASD Web site, with link to company homepage
  • Complimentary MCASD catalogue or poster of your choice

Corporate Partner ($3,000)

All benefits of Corporate Friend membership, plus:
  • 25 additional MCASD guest admission passes (50 total)
  • Two additional invitations for clients or employees to major exhibition openings, by request
  • 8 complimentary drink coupons for use at MCASD events
  • Private tours (upon request)

Corporate Supporter ($5,000)

All benefits of Corporate Partner membership, plus:
  • 25 additional MCASD guest admission passes (75 total)
  • Two additional invitations for clients or employees to major exhibition openings, by request (Four total)
  • Opportunity to attend select MCASD's Contemporary Collectors* events [link to Collectors Groups page]
  • Recognition on MCASD donor boards at La Jolla and downtown locations
  • Waived rental fee for privileged use of the 1001 Kettner Terrace at MCASD Downtown**

Corporate Associate ($10,000)

All benefits of Corporate Supporter membership, plus:
  • Additional individual membership for a company representative (Two total)
  • 25 additional MCASD guest admission passes (100 total)
  • Opportunity to attend select MCASD's International Collectors* events [link to Collectors Groups page]
  • Opportunity to invite up to 25 clients and employees to MCASD for a private gallery tour led by a Museum curator (by appointment)
  • Donor recognition article, with photo, in VIEW, MCASD's quarterly newsletter
  • Waived rental fee for privileged use of MCASD's La Jolla's Coast Room and Miles Terrace, overlooking the ocean; OR of the Berglund Room and Woods Terrace at MCASD's Copley Building in downtown**

Corporate Fellow ($20,000)

All benefits of Corporate Associate membership, plus:
  • Additional individual membership for a company representative (Three total)
  • Additional MCASD guest admission passes by request
  • Curatorial slide presentation and lecture at workplace (by appointment)
  • Waived rental fee for privileged use of the entire MCASD facility in La Jolla or MCASD's Jacobs and Copley Buildings (evenings only)**

Corporate Founder ($50,000 and above)

All benefits of Corporate Fellow membership, plus:
  • Additional individual membership for company representatives (Four total)
  • Free unlimited admission for company employees at all MCASD locations
  • Additional opportunity to hold a private event at MCASD with waived rental fee (Two events total)**

Executive Membership for Company Representatives

Each designated company representative will receive a personalized membership card valid for:
  • Unlimited free admission to all MCASD locations
  • 10% discount at the Museum X Store
  • 10% discount at the Museum Cafe
  • Special discounts at the official MCASD partner hotel, W San Diego
  • Reciprocal membership privileges at more than 20 museums across the nation
