Highlighting works from the L.J. Cella Collection,
this exhibition features architectural drawings and photographs from
architects and landscape architects, as well as painters and photographers
who focus on aspects of the built environment from the 1950s to the
present. Included in the exhibition are works by Richard Neutra, Frank
Gehry, Robert Irwin, and Lawrence Halprin. This exhibition showcases
the unique mix of idealism, humor, and critique that comprise architectural
renderings and sketches, while demonstrating the tremendous variety
in technique and modes of expression in creating real and fictional
architectural and living spaces.
