At MCASD, visitors learn about contemporary art with practicing artists and educators. Thousands of students and visitors tour the galleries each year, and to facilitate their visits and foster their exploration of contemporary art, the Museum has assembled a dynamic corps of artists and educators—MCASD’s Gallery Guides. These highly trained Gallery Guides are experts at making meaningful connections between the art on view and visitors’ lives through discussion and active engagement.
