thoughtLAB Opens in La Jolla

thoughtLAB is a new space at MCASD La Jolla for personal reflection and public dialogue surrounding the exhibitions on view. Read, discuss, write, and make the Museum your own in this space designed to inspire reflection, curiosity, and research. thoughtLAB also acts as a public forum, playing host to a variety of programs such as Xcerpts, a book club-inspired series that invites people to discuss excerpts of books from the Museum’s library collection.

Product Porch Now Open Downtown

Product Porch, a unique pop-up store, is now open at 1001 Kettner Blvd. This six-month retail experiment serves as a destination for new design and creative retail in San Diego. A collaboration between MCASD and successful design retailers Brooks Hudson Thomas and Blaire Dessent, Product Porch will offer accessories, functional objects, and furniture made by a new generation of creative talents from all over the world.
